Miles supports Correlation’s sourcing and investment efforts and is based in the firm’s Palo Alto office.

Before joining the firm, Miles ran partnerships and business development at the Kairos Society. While at the Kairos Society, Miles worked with dozens of early stage businesses to help them raise, in aggregate, over $100M in venture funding.

Miles graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a bachelor’s degree where he was Vice President of the student body. While at Claremont, Miles caught the entrepreneurial bug as the co-founder of a number of enterprises including a wearable infant health monitor, FeverSmart, backed by Founder.org, for which he received the Henry Kravis Prize for Entrepreneurship. He also co-founded Khan Investment Management, which offered the first investment vehicle for foreign investors in the local Mongolian stock market.

Miles enjoys off-the-beaten-path traveling in his free time, and has adventured throughout Europe, Central Asia, the Indian sub-continent, the Middle East, much of Latin America, as well as Eastern and Southern Africa. Miles grew up in Tokyo, Japan.
